Abstract
The Peggy Browning Fund and IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law cosponsored a panel discussion and networking event on "Educating Law Students on the Rights and Needs of Workers: Advocating for Workplace Justice." The panel is moderated by Professor Rosado Marzan and features Marisel Hernandez of Jacobs, Burns, Orlove & Hernandez, Angie Cowan Hamada of Allison, Slutsky & Kennedy, Alexandra Gillett of Working Hands Legal Clinic, Daniel Murphy of National Labor Relations Board Region 13, and Christopher Williams of Workers’ Law Office PC.
Peggy Browning Fund's Regional Workshop Program is intended to introduce law students to the benefits of practicing labor law and PBF's Summer Fellowship Program. Panelists include union leaders, labor and plaintiff lawyers, labor professors, worker center directors, representatives from government agencies regulating the workplace and PBF alumni.
