Abstract
IIT Chicago-Kent Professor and leading First Amendment scholar Steven J. Heyman addresses the topic “Conservative Libertarianism and the Transformation of First Amendment Jurisprudence” during the 2014 Constitution Day Lecture.
Heyman’s lecture explores the impact of conservative libertarian ideology on the First Amendment. The lecture is followed by a brief response by Associate Professor of Law and Director of the Institute on the Supreme Court of the United States (ISCOTUS) Christopher W. Schmidt and an open audience discussion.
